Infection Control
Every procedure we provide is always delivered in accordance with the strictest OSHA ( the Occupational Safety and Health Administration ) guidelines. Masks and gloves, properly sterilized instruments, handpieces and touch barriers for chairs and lights are just some of the procedures used for your ( and our ) protection.

Sterilization Procedures
Instruments and handpieces are thoroughly sterilized using the latest ultrasonic, chemical, heat and pressure techniques available to eliminate any possible infectious agents. All handpieces and water syringes are connected with anti-retraction values to prevent re-uptake while in use. Independent water reservoirs are used to reduce biofilm hazard (water line bacteria) in every operatory.

Digital X-Rays
Digital Radiography uses computer scanned images to produce x-ray images that can be enhanced, reverse contrasted, or e-mailed to insurance companies or to referred specialists. One great health advantage of this system is that it produces drastically lowered x-radiation exposure when taking x-rays. In other words, you can have a panoramic x-ray plus four bite-wing x-rays and be exposed to less radiation than one x-ray would expose you to in the past !

Sealants
Sealants are clear or opaque resin fillers that are bonded onto the biting surfaces of the permanent molars of young children to prevent decay. They are very effective and provide a low cost means of preventing fillings, crowns and root canals in the future.

Although most people think a nice smile means that braces are not necessary, the truth is that the esthetic appearance of the teeth ranks third in importance. The first and second priorities of orthodontic treatment are proper function (a good bite) and alignment (tooth position).
