Meet Our Dentist in Reston, VA

Dr. Jenny Cheung originates from Seattle, Washington. She developed her passion for dentistry at an early age watching her mom work as a dental assistant. Upon graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in mathematics, she immediately pursued her dream of becoming a dentist by enrolling at the University of Maryland and graduating with distinction in 2005.

Dr. Cheung’s mission has always been to provide exceptional and comprehensive dental services to all of her patients. She believes that by providing patients with superior care and knowledge you improve not just their oral health but also their lives. Her goal is to ensure a healthy and beautiful smile for you that will last a lifetime.

Dr. Cheung continually strives to advance her dental training and has completed extensive postgraduate courses in cosmetic dentistry, implants, endodontics, Invisalign® treatment and sedation. Dr. Cheung is an active member of the American Dental Association®, the Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. She has also received the Distinguishing Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Cheung is committed to community service and actively serves the underprivileged through the Virginia Mission of Mercy and Northern Virginia free dental clinics, as well as by participating in various free dental days throughout the region.

In her personal life, Dr. Cheung enjoys photography, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family and two children.

Dr. Manreet Randhawa grew up in Yuba City, California. She received her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology at UC Davis. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She is a member of many professional associations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is very compassionate about helping patients achieve their goals while building long-lasting relationships.

Outside of work, Dr. Randhawa enjoys hiking, trying out new restaurants, playing tennis and watching sports. Dr. Randhawa’s favorite book is “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen Covey. Her favorite things to watch on TV are “Game of Thrones,” “Friends” and ESPN. Her favorite movies are “A Walk to Remember” and the Harry Potter movies. Her favorite vacation destination is Barcelona, Spain.

Dr. Grace Lee strives to deliver the highest standards of modern dentistry by leveraging her extensive knowledge, experience and the latest technology to ensure her patients receive the utmost care in all areas of dental health. She is well known for her kind heart and gentle hands, which helps her provide a unique, memorable dental health care experience.

Dr. Lee was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, until moving to the United States at the age of 13. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, earned her Master of Business and Science degree at the UMDNJ Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and further advanced her education at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, New Jersey, to earn her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. She is affiliated with the ADA®, AGD, NJDA, VDA and AACA.

Dr. Lee belongs to the elite group of handpicked dentists led by Dr. David Galler, known as Reingage, which provides more than 10% of all Invisalign® cases in the US. She continues to enhance her knowledge and craft by earning over 500+ hours of specialized continuing education over the past few years.

Dr. Lee was practicing dentistry and serving the central Jersey area for more than 10 years until she decided to move to Virginia following her husband’s job. Outside of her profession, Dr. Lee enjoys swimming, playing tennis, golf and spending time with her beloved family and friends. She is an award-winning pianist, having had her first recital in Livingston, New Jersey, and concerts at Carnegie Hall in New York City. She is an avid reader and always welcomes a good recommendation!

Dr. Daniel Matthews had a childhood home in Vienna, Virginia, but he also lived internationally being from a diplomat family. Growing up he was fortunate to be able to experience countries like Australia, China, Pakistan, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He returned to Virginia for his undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech where he received a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition Foods and Exercise. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2014 at the University of Maryland in Baltimore where he met his wife who is also a dentist. Dr. Matthews is always learning as much as he can to expand his skills and enjoys going to dental conferences and courses. Dr. Matthews has focused a lot of his postgraduate training towards cosmetic and implant dentistry. He takes great pride in using the latest technology to produce high quality dentistry all while keeping the patient as comfortable as possible. His favorite thing in dentistry is taking someone who is afraid or unable to smile and helping them smile again.

Dr. Matthews lives in Herndon with his wife and two children. He likes to spend his free time doing active things like running, biking and snowboarding.

Hello, my name is Loki. I am originally from South Carolina, but I have spent most of my life here in Virginia. My dad is a Maltese, and my mom is a Shih Tzu, which makes me the greatest type of dog in the world: a Malshi!

I am still a puppy, but I am working hard to become a therapy dog. I want to help comfort and calm humans who may be afraid of going to the dentist. I love going to the dentist! Reston Dental Care is my home away from home. There are always so many patients to play with and so many employees to annoy. Most of my training involves belly rubs and naps. It is hard work being an office dog but it is a sacrifice I am willing to make. In my free time, I enjoy chasing balls, chewing anything I can get my paws on and barking at my own reflection. I am also looking for a furry companion who enjoys long walks on the beach and sniffing strangers’ butts.
